The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and a very friendly staff, especially one lady who went above and beyond during breakfast. However, I encountered issues with cleanliness and some unprofessional behavior from the front desk. Overall, it was a decent experience with potential for improvement.

Nice setup here, especially for a family looking to spend time outdoors. The location is less than 10 minutes from Eisenhower Park, making it easy to enjoy lake activities followed by a quick clean-up before heading out.

Minor details, though, like the Jacuzzi's drain plug not working properly meant I had to keep running more water. We definitely needed more towels since only two were provided for four of us, and the sleeper sofa lacked linens and pillows until we asked for them. Additionally, the shower head had a mind of its own, spraying everywhere, which made for a bit of a messy experience.

I had a fantastic stay! The rooms were spacious and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious! Only downside was some minor maintenance issues.

What happened to the pool?

We were really looking forward to using the pool, but found out it was closed when we arrived. It was a struggle to check in, and my room keys took forever. We ended up getting double charged too! The staff was nice, and the room was clean, but the long check-ins made our stay super frustrating.

during my stay, I loved that I was just a short walk away from Ray Park, which was perfect for my weekend strolls, and I enjoyed grabbing breakfast a few steps away at Braum's, making it super convenient for my explorations.

This hotel was a solid selection for a short break in Denison with good value. The breakfasts were hot and plentiful. Make sure to ask for extra towels right away if you need them.
